     2.  Simpleology-Compliant Offices

A recent post in our community by "Snakesandsales" asked about
convincing the rest of your office to start using the WebCockpit.

Good idea.

Once you start whipping your life into shape with the WC it's
easy to get frustrated by the guys in your adjoining cubicle
who still think Minesweeper is a productivity tool.

The challenge is - how do you get your office to adopt it?

The bigger a company is, the more resistant it is to change.

Don't despair.

Here's a little plan to get your office on track:

     Step 1:  "Didn't You Get the Memo?"
    
     I know, the corporate memo is the butt of many jokes.  But
     you gotta speak their language.
    
     Write up one that tells the story about how you tripled
     your productivity using the WC, then see if you can get
     it distributed company-wide.
    
     Make it a single-pager and don't boast.  Just use the tone
     of "this helped me - just want to pass on the tip."
    
     Step 2:  Follow Up with the CEO
    
     Email your CEO and ask if they saw the memo.  Offer to
     walk them through the WC personally.

     Step 3:  Policy-Level Change
    
     Once your CEO is hooked, propose a new policy to have all
     new staff members do Simpleology 101 as part of their
     on-the-job-training and require folks to start their days
     with the DTP.
    
There are already many organizations that do this and they are
getting massive results.

Tellman Knudson's blooming "Overcome Everything, Inc." for
example, makes the DTP a daily requirement for everyone on his
team.

No exceptions.

"The impact on our productivity has been HUGE," he says.

His company now does millions in sales.

     3.  Success Story of the Week

Here's a new one from member Paul Fuggle (he swears that's his
real name) ...

"Quite simply, I laughed soooooo much at the Day One Experiment
(the take a sip from the glass of water) that I had no other
choice than to complete the course, stop looking for 'answers'
and just get on and do it ..."
