ERA Adams-Pevey Realty announces a new online tool that has recently been
launched to assist people looking to buy real estate in the Savannah, Georgia
and surrounding areas. The "Savannah Real Estate Marketplace", located
at www.SavannahRealEstateMarketplace.com,
is a local website that allows future Savannah homeowners to easily find their
"dreamhome" with the simple click of a mouse. By implementing some of
the latest options in online technology to the site, website visitors can now
perform several tasks that were previously only available for Realtors.
One example is called "Housetrack". Housetrack allows website visitors
to type in exactly what type of property they're looking for and then have daily
emails sent to them whenever something new "hits" the market that
matches their criteria. This allows website visitors to be notified of new
properties the same time other Realtors are notified. The Housetrack service
also sends email alerts when properties have been reduced.
When searching for property on the Savannah Real Estate Marketplace, the MLS
search, provided by ERA Adams-Pevey, is now integrated with Google Maps. Simply
type in the search criteria you're looking for and when the results page loads,
it features a map with "thumbtacks" showing where the properties are
located. By clicking on the "Satellite" link, the map changes from a
drawn map to actual satelite images showing exactly where each property is
located. By clicking and dragging your mouse inside of the image, you can pan
around the image in realtime without have to reload the page.
While browsing through properties online, it's often cumbersome to keep up with
all of the homes that interest you. On the Savannah Real Estate Marketplace
website, by simply clicking a link labeled "Save Listing", you can
place favorite homes into your own personal repository which can be accessed
again during a later visit.
Have a relative or friend you'd like to show a property of interest to? Click on
the "Send to a Friend" link and an email will automatically be sent to
the named recipient which contains a link for them to view the property.
Planning to spend a day visiting homes of interest? Click on a link labeled
"Printable Version" for each property you're interested in. This will
load the properties you're interested in into a flyer view, suitable to be
printed out.
Taking technology one step forward, the Savannah Real Estate Marketplace
implemented a state-of-the-art toll-free number system for easy access to speak
directly with a Savannah Realtor. When website visitors call the toll-free
number, each real estate agent's cell phone rings at the same time. The first
agent to "accept" the call is connected with the visitor. By alerting
each real estate agent of a phone call, having to leave voicemail messages for
callbacks is no longer an issue. When you call the toll-free number, you're
really calling up to 10 real estate agents at the same time.
Not ready to speak over the phone with a real estate agent? No problem. The site
also features a "live chat" option which gives visitors a way to
communicate with a Savannah Realtor by typing messages back and forth directly
through a console on the site.
But this site isn't just for buyers. Those looking to sell their home have yet
